She may look tough, but most of the time, she's a real marshmallow inside. (DON'T, however, try anything shady around Captain Cathy. She's a woman of strong convictions...and she WILL tell you what she thinks!!)

Happy poolside after our 2004 win in Nashville.

Cathy and husband (and terrific supporter) Ron.

Lexy is another wonderful friend of the guard. She crochets afghans to raise money for our trips, hawks 50/50 raffle tickets, makes wonderful blender drinks, and does absolutely EVERYTHING she can to let us know how much she loves this group. Small wonder why SHE is so loved in turn...

A meal fit for a champion. This is more like the REAL Cathy we know and love!

Cathy and mother Dot, 2002 (Birthday dinner)

Cathy's roots are in the Buckeye Drum & Bugle Corps

A typical night of silliness...

Cathy with long-time friend Marshall Bucey.

Marshall led the Theodore Roosevelt Post 469's Roughriders for many years

and helped make them one of the finest marching groups around...EVER!

(The "tattoo" on her arm says, "I love Blitzen") "Sarge" (before her promotion in 2002).
